I bought a new 2005 kubota F2560 4wd front mount"Rear Discharge Mower" in december and started cutting grass a month ago. I like the unit and its features. But the damn thing will not cut grass without leaving a strip uncut. It appears that the grass is massed down some but will not cut clean. The blade as are sharp and are the factory step type high lift blades. The dealer adjusted the rear of the deck and raise the rear 1/2 " up more than the front. Still cuts the same way. It seems to cut worse in thicker grass. The only way I can get a clean cut is to go very very slow, barely move or recut the yards twice. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Are you operating at full throttle? Where is the uncut strip as compared to the blades, left, right or center? ....

Check the torque on the blades, make sure one of them isn't upside down, 1/2 tilt is way to much on the blades, should be somewhere around 0 to 3/16 or maybe a 1/4. ....

Does it have a front mounted roller where the grass is matted down? If yes you might have to remove it--be careful though--you could bend the deck if you hit something.
Does it have an electric clutch driving the blades which could be bad (not strong enough to hold the clutch)? ....

They use a hydraulic clutch system which has been problem free. They are a smaller unit simular to a farm tractors system. ....
